Integrated Functional Adult Literacy Program
Of all of the illiterate adults in the world, nearly two-thirds are female. In total, there are about 781 million adults worldwide that cannot read or write.

The Covid 19 risks to water down all the gains made over the past decades in increasing literacy rates globally. Continued school closures, along with related risks of early marriages, teenage pregnancies, increased poverty, are widening the inequalities of access to quality education among women and girls.

Displaced girls are even at a greater risk of losing out on education. It’s, for this reason, Voice for Humanity Uganda has designed a flexible integrated functional adult literacy training program that not only equips illiterate women and girls with literacy and numeracy skills but also equips them with life skills for self-reliance
